In June, the Ontario government announced plans to implement Full-day Kindergarten for 3, 4 and 5 year olds in the province. They have stated this will be 'childcare and early education' rolled into one. This is bad policy, one that will cost us over a billion dollars per year but will 'deliver' education that is inferior to what children are currently receiving. Winterhill - the education manifesto exposes the many severely intractable problems in our education system, advocates abolition of that system and outlines its reformation by putting resources and control for education back into the hands of the learner.In A CONVERSATION I address questions and comments about the Winterhill concept.
I have outlined the Education Plan that I used with my own children under OPTIONS NOW so that you may adapt it to your own needs.
